Many years ago, I won a contest (and a t-shirt!) that was sponsored by the Humane Society of the Gallatin Valley, which is now called Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter.
You had to identify 25 photos of dogs by their respective breeds. I answered all of them correctly, even the Saluki – apparently no one else guessed that one right.
But I confess that nowadays, I am stymied by the hybrid breeds. (And as a Prius owner, I would prefer another term for hybrid dogs, but that’s for a future blog post.)
Seriously, can YOU tell the difference between a Cockapoo and a Maltipoo?
Some of these dogs’ owners get insulted if you guess the wrong combination. I’m sorry, but when the dog is small,curly-haired, and groomed to look as cute as possible, I defy anyone to get it right 100% of the time.
